  • Demeter uses GLEC (Global Logistics Emissions Council) Framework approved activity-based approach when measurement data such as distance traveled, shipment weight, and fuel usage are available. Demeter will estimate using a spend-based approach based on financial spendings when these data are not available. This will ensure the highest accuracy in our calculation of your supply chain emissions. It also allow us to tell you what might be an issue in reaching your net zero goals.

  • No, provide us with your shipment invoice numbers and Demeter will do the rest! This can be in the form of Excel, CSV, or simply email us, we are here to help!

  • As much as it is needed! We understand there is a lack of visibility with first-mile and mid-mile transportations. This is also true for any suppliers below tier 2 in the supply chain. Demeter will be able to track the shipment down with a shipment invoice and gather data along the shipment route, so you will know your emissions profile from start to finish.

  • Annual subscription is determined based on your company size and number of shipments each year. We will also charge an one-time implementation fee to ensure smooth integration into your tech stack.

  • Yes! GLEC is an internationally accepted framework so using us to calculate your emissions means it will be accepted by all US and international standards.

  • We are happy to integrate with any systems and TMS that you or your supplier may use. If we don’t already integrate with them, send us a request and we will set it up so your emissions data will be automated!
